Vidakis Bros & Co was founded in 1962 by Dimitrios Vidakis and until 1980 was the representative of a great variety of products from companies throughout Greece.
In 1980 our company was focused on food products. It represented household names and a host of well renowned Greek companies by establishing a great network of clients all around Crete.
In the beginning of the 1990’s Dimitrios Vidakis together with his son Yannis Vidakis created Dimitrios Vidakis and Son gave a boost to the sales of the already well known company.
The company makes rapid progress and develops by representing a great variety of well known food companies
Yannis Vadakis takes over the management of the company and sets higher standars by incorporating new ideas as regards the distribution and sales of products all over the island of Crete.
In 1994 the founder of the company Dimitrios Vadakis retires and his daughter Sofia Vidakis takes his place. The company gets bigger in terms of human resources and expands its distribution network in the field of foods and food packaging. .
In the turn of the 21st Century Vidakis Bros & Co moves to privately owned premises in the area of Finikia in Heraklion Crete. It expands its partnership with overseas companies and there is a rapid increase in its sales by having created a nationwide sales network.
